Pattie McCarthy is the author of seven books of poetry and over a dozen chapbooks. She received her M. A. in Creative Writing—Poetry from Temple University. Her work has appeared recently in many journals, including Colorado Review, Dusie, EOAGH, Fanzine, ixnay reader, Lungfull!, The Poetry Project Newsletter and The Tangent. She has taught literature and creative writing at the Queens College of the University of New York, Loyola University Maryland, and Towson University. She lives in Philadelphia and teaches at Temple University.
